William "Bill" Jay Bailey

William (Bill) Jay Bailey passed away peacefully at his home in Grattan, MI on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 63 years of age.  He was born on August 13, 1958 to Donald and Doris Bailey in Greenville, MI.  He graduated from Greenville High School in 1976, attended GRCC, and served in the Air Force maintaining instrument panels in USAF fighter jets.  During his career, he worked at Electrolux Appliance Group, Country Fresh Dairy and most recently at AGA Marvel.   He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, several aunts and uncles, and his two dogs, Mishka and Mickey, whom he adored.  He enjoyed spending time with them at his home near Big Pine Island Lake.  He is survived by four brothers, Larry (Donna) of Augusta, GA, James (Marty) of Grand Rapids, Dave (Kathye) of Greenville, Doug (Gail) of Kentwood, one sister, Susan (Lynn) Calhoun of Grand Rapids, 10 nieces and nephews, 12 great-nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nephews.    Arrangements are being handled by the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with complete obituary online at www.marshallfuneralhomeinc.com where you can leave a message of condolence for the family.  In lieu of services and flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to Spectrum Health Hospice at Spectrum Health Foundation.
