Willard Filmore Pool

Willard Filmore Pool age 78, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 4, 1936 in Six Lakes, Michigan the son of Amos and Nellie (Houghtaling) Pool. Willard was in the US Navy for 4 years and he retired from Federal Mogel. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, country music roundups and attending Tractor Clubs. He is survived by his daughters Leona Pool of Tennessee and Pamela (Ralph) Heimburger of Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother Nile (Shirley) Pool of Six Lakes; sisters Doris (Gary) Baird, Grand Rapids; Cora (Robert) Densmore, Six lakes; Nora Pool, Six Lakes; brother-in-law Bernard (Penny) Brenner, Stanwood; sister-in-law Patty Brenner, of Marion and a special adopted daughter Cheryl Pixley Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Anita in 2007 and son Willard Pool in 2011; sister and brother-in-law Juanita (Gordon) Painter; brother Amos Pool and brother-in-law Clarence Brenner. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home on Thursday, February 26, 2015 with visitation 1 hour before the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date in the spring. Memorials for Willard may be considered for Parkinson’s disease.
