Theresa Elizabeth Huey

Theresa Elizabeth Huey age 78, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Lake City under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice. She was born February 22, 1948 in Kewadin, Michigan, the daughter of Lucius and Madeline (Shaw) Antoine. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going on motorcycle rides, picnics, pow wows, camping and playing at the casino. Theresa is survived by her daughter Sandra Tiffany of Lake City, Grandchildren Dillon (Morgan) Antoine, Jordan (Chelsie) Busha, Kennedy Antoine, Ryan Pollman, Jennifer Mathewson, and Great-Grandchildren Alexis Mathewson, Trey Horning, Madison Hart, Taygon Antoine, Deacan Antoine, Cohen Antoine, Jasmin Antoine, Paizley DeKubber, Zander Pollman, Zoey Busha, Ava Busha, Jaxxen Busha, Ella Busha, Briley Busha, Stepchildren Richard McKinley, Donna McKinley, James (Nancy) Huey, Michael (Judy) Huey, Patrick (Kim) Huey and their children/grandchildren, Brothers Steven Antoine and Leslie (Lori) Antoine and Brother-in-law Robert (Jolene) Huey as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Deber O. Huey July 23, 2003, son Michael A. “Indian” Antoine June 13, 2023, and grandson Leo J. Horning II September 24, 2022 as well as her parents Lucius/Madeline Antoine, siblings Carol Stephens, Darlene Sineway, George Antoine, and Harriet Judson.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday July 5th at the Harry and Ida John Social Hall in Kewadin, MI at 3pm.
