Tammy L. Alvaro

Tammy L. Alvaro age 63, passed away, Monday, October 26, 2026 under the care of her family and Corewell Hospice. She was born November 10, 1962 in Traverse City, the daughter of Charles A. & Dianne K. (Hughes) Haines. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and Central Michigan University and was the director of Student Activities and Phi Theta Kapa Advisor at Mid Michigan College. She fought a good fight against cancer for the last year. Tammy is survived by her daughter Quiana Miller; mother Diane Haines; three grandsons Ryder, Noah and Parker Miller and her sister Terri VanHorn. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lachelle Alvaro, father Charles Haines and her brother Tony Haines. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives 1 to 3 PM Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville.
