Tamara K. Smith

Tamara K. Smith age 62 of Big Rapids, formerly of the Lakeview area passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Altercare big Rapids under the care of Hospice of Michigan. She was born July 7, 1956 in Greenville, the daughter of Bernard F. & Shirley E. (Plath) Smith. She was a member of the Jesus Non-Denominational Church in Greenville, was a graduate of Lakeview High School and loved casinos. Tamara is survived by her father Bernie; sister and brother in law Rhonda (Rick) Neitzel of Newaygo; nephew and his wife Kylle (Jill) Smith of Trufant and her great niece Skyler Neitzel. She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Smith and her nephew Cody Neitzel. Memorial Services will be 10 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Jesus Non-Denominational Church in Greenville. Burial will take place later at Altona Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Tamara’s name to the Montcalm Care Network for Behavioral Health.
