Russell Wayne Hopkins

Russell Wayne Hopkins, Sr. age 64, of Greenville, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home. He was born February 24, 1959 in Greenville, to the son of Roger L. Hopkins and Alice N. (Norton) DeWitt. Russell as a Electrolux employee and then drove over that road for a different company until he retired. He loved to go bowling and golfing and playing cards. Russell is survived by his sons Russell W. Hopkins, Jr. of Belding and Barry Hopkins of Greenville; two grandchildren Russell Hopkins, III and Nevaeh Hopkins; two brothers Bruce Hopkins of Greenville and William Hopkins of Gowen; two step sisters Christina Norton of Beachgrove Tennessee and Regina Jordan of Baldwin, Michigan and his nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by Debra Hopkins, the mother of Russell, Jr. and Barry. Memorial Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. There will be a luncheon immediately following at the Greenville Moose Lodge.
