Rosie L. Ignash

Rosie L. Ignash age 77, of Greenville formerly of Grand Rapids passed away at her home. She was born December 7, 1948 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Earl H. & Violet L. (Devine) Christensen. She was formerly employed at Kent Community Hospital. She was a lover of all animals, plants, crafts, home projects, fancy ketchups, and a foodie. Always loving a Whopper with extra pickles. Rosie or “Peter” as she was called by her family is survived by her daughter and son in law Jodi (Rodney) Tracey of Cedar Springs; siblings Pat Barnhart, Jim Christensen, John Christensen and (Vickie), Matt Christensen and (Cindy), Kay Christensen–Denslow and (Mark) and Betsy Madole and (Roger); many nieces and nephews and her cats, Paris (Sister) and Baby Kitty. She was preceded in death by her parents Earl & Violet Christensen. Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2026 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at the Marshall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Pete’s name to the local Humane Society. Arrangements are by the Marshall Funeral Home of Greenville where you can leave a message of condolence for the family.
