Ronald Lee Bivins

Ronald Lee Bivins, age 56 of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 doing what he loved…cutting wood. Ronald loved to be outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish, and trap. He loved to go golfing with his friends and his wife. He loved to go camping with his family and spent the summer doing just that. He loved spending time with his grandkids and making memories with them. He spent his life working in the asphalt business where he earned the nickname of “Gator”. He was currently employed at Superior Asphalt in Grand Rapids. Ronald is survived by his wife Rojeana of 12 years (together 26); and their children Keisha (Jeremiah) Sexton of Bear Lake; Jessica Bivins (Ben Tyler) of Stanton; Christopher (Felicia) Holmes of Trufant and Brandon (Keiki) Holmes of Greenville; Heidi Bivins of Walker; and seven grandchildren Jared, Taylor, Sky, Peyton, Blake, Amelia and Barrett; and his brother Phil and Sister Candy. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Bivins and Carol Bailey. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives 6 to 8 PM Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial services will be held Monday October 21, 2019 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help with their needs.
