Raymond E. Davis

Raymond E. Davis age 78, of Greenville went to be with The Lord, Friday November 11, 2016 surrounded by his loving family under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice at his home. He was born January 27, 1938 in Lakeview, the son of Frank B. & Lilly M. (Rickle) Davis. He was an outdoorsman, loved the outdoors, worked and retired from Frigidaire for 42 years where he had many friends and family, was a member of the UAW, received awards for his work at the Commission on Aging, helping AA members and was a member of the Greenville Area Senior Center. Raymond is survived by his wife Helen, children Patrick Davis of Greenville and Sherry & (Dave) Ward of Alto; twin sister Yvonne Rohn of Mesa, Arizona and his other sister Betty & (Leroy) Jones of Greenville; half sisters Tammy Stearns and Coleen Davis; half brothers Sean and Nick Davis; nieces; nephews and also sisters in law and brothers in law. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Charles and Roger Davis and his brother Scott Davis. Memorial Services will be 11 AM Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Greenville Community Church. Memorial contributions can be made in Raymond’s name to the Greenville Community Church or Great Lake Caring Hospice.
