Randy Roy Swartzmiller

Randy R. Swartzmiller, age 50, of Petoskey  went to be with his Lord February 16, 2022 in Petoskey.   He was born October 14, 1971 in Greenville, the son of Martin P. & Carol L. (Bernard) Swartzmiller.  He loved cooking, playing euchre, kayaking, and spending time with family.  Randy is survived by his sons Zach Converse of Allendale and Kaleb Shong of Sidney; 3 step children Ashley, Amanda and Christina Converse; sisters Karen Bull (Roy Giles) of Greenville and Cindy (Ted) Wilkinson of Bitely; brothers Martin Swartzmiller of Ionia, Allen (Marcia) Swartzmiller of Fenwick and Richard Grubb of Greenville; his girlfriend Tiffany Newberg of Greenville and her children; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Edwin Claypool and sister-in-law Joanne Swartzmiller.  Private family visitation was held.  Memorial Services will be 1 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Greenville Church of the Nazarene.  Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives starting at Noon.  There will be a luncheon at the church after the service.  Burial will take place later in Forest Home Cemetery, Greenville.  Arrangements are by the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with complete obituary online at www.marshallfuneralhomeinc.com where you can leave a message of condolence for the family.
