Norman R. Dow

Norman R. Dow age 83, of Gowen passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Corewell Greenville Hospital. He was born April 20, 1942 in Kalamazoo, the son of Lee B. & Emma M. (Dalton) Dow. He loved to fish, hunt, race and watching the races, was retired from the tannery in Rockford and most of all he was a loving person and enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by his wife Katherine “Hodges” Dow; children Norman D. Dow of Mt. Pleasant, Shelley Dow of Mt. Pleasant and Brian Lee Dow of Gowen; grandchildren Devlin Dow of Mt Pleasant, Robert Dow of Rockford, Kate Dow of Marquette, Danae (Brody) Bell of North Carolina, Brian Lee Dow, II of Stanton, Alan Victor Dow of White Cloud and Caleb Dow of Cedar Springs; great grand child Koa Bell of North Carolina; brothers Ed Dow of Sand Lake, Leroy (Pat) Dow of Cedar Springs and Keith (Laurie) Dow of Cedar Springs and his sister Maude Powers of Greenville. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be held later.
