GREENVILLE – Nanette A. Brown, 59 of Greenville, passed away October 22, 2023, at Corewell Meijer Heart Center.  She was born March 1, 1964 in Greenville, the daughter of William and Helen Newberg.  She was married to Jerry Brown on  May 19, 2006.  Nan was a girl scout leader for one of her girls troop’s when they were young and her passion was being a RN at the Greenville hospital.  She volunteered at the hospital at as many events as she could.  She loved gardening and enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was hiking or fishing or even deer hunting with her dad. She even loved to travel and hit the casinos once in a while.  Most of all she loved her grandbabies. Nan is survived by her husband Jerry; son Dustin (Krystle) Clark, of Kalamazoo, daughters Hannah (Zach) Seigel of Greenville and Sarah (Jesse) Rowe of Butte, Montana; grandchildren, Henry Clark, Aria Rowe and Ezri and Wesley Seigel, Makaylee, Haley, Hayden, Ethan, Liam and Fennec. She is also survived by her sister Shelley Newberg of Greenville.  Nan is preceded in death by her parents William and Helen (Williams) Newberg; sister Valerie Porter and sister-in-law Cheryl Clark. Memorial Services will be 1:30 PM Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Marshall Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Thompson officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from 1 to 3 PM and from 7 to 8:30 PM at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville.  Private family burial will be in E. Montcalm Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in Nan’s name to the Cancer Center at Corewell Health Greenville.
