Nancy L. (Kroesing) Piipke age 78 of Duluth, Minnesota, formerly of Greenville, passed away September 20, 2022 under the care of hospice and her family. She was born February 2, 1944, in Detroit, the daughter of Eugene & Mary (Shaw) Kroesing. She loved to work on crafts, toil in the garden with flowers and plants, and to travel. After the passing of her first husband Albert (Ward), Nancy bought a gold mining claim and metal detector off eBay; packed up her dog Buddy; and headed out west to Arizona to work her gold mine. Instead of finding gold, she found her 2nd love, Edwin. Nancy is survived by her husband Edwin Piipke; children Becky Henley of Conway, Arkansas, Albert Huntley of Greenville, Helen Huntley of Greenville and Allen & Bradi Huntley of Greenville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her siblings Eugene & Laurie Kroesing of Howard City, Helen & Dick Patterson of Mt. Dora, Florida, Florence Crosby of White Cloud, Tom & Edna Kroesing of Paris, Michigan and Charles “Skip” & Trudy Kroesing of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Albert Warden Huntley, Sr. on February 4, 2005 and her sister Mary Hillman. A Celebration of her Life will be 1 PM Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Greenville Moose Lodge.
