Nancy J. Crater

Nancy J. Crater age 87, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Greenville passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at Sunrise of Cascade in Grand Rapids under the care of Careline Hospice. She was born August 10, 1936 in Grand Rapids Michigan, the daughter of William & Bertha (DeKorne) Peterson. She was proceeded in death by her husband Les, brothers Richard & (Alyce) Peterson and Bill Peterson. Nancy was a nurse at Greenville United Memorial Hospital for several years before becoming a surgical Nurse for 33 years at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, Nancy is survived by her sons and daughters in law Doug (Betsy) Crater of Rochester, New York and Tim & (Kris) Crater of Marne; four grandchildren Josh, Jeremy, Erika and Olivia; grand puppies; brother Glen Peterson of Grand Rapids; sisters in law Elsie Peterson of Grand Rapids, Connie Crater of Wyoming Michigan and her nieces and nephews. Memorial Services to celebrate Nancys life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, September 22nd at LaGrave Christian Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, with visitation from 9:30 AM till the service. A luncheon will follow at the church. Memorial contributions can be made in Nancy’s name to the LaGrave Christian Reformed Church.
