Melvina May Feltner

Melvina May Feltner age 83, of Ionia passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Mission Point in Belding. She was born June 15, 1937 in Forest, Illinois, the daughter of Allan E. & Leatha E. (Lighty) Serene. She was a former member of the Battle Creek Church of Christ, loved to knit, go to garage sales, go on motorcycle rides, vacation up north, Sunday family dinner and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. May is survived by her children Curtis (Pat) Feltner of Battle Creek, Michael Feltner of Ionia and Janice (Dwayne) Nobis of Ionia; grandchildren Jeffery Emard of Ionia, Allen (Brandy) Emard II of Belding, Jenny Strause of Ionia, Mark Nobis of Ionia and Andrew (Hannah) Nobis of Midland; 19 great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis Feltner and her brothers and sisters. A Celebration of Life will be 4 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at her daughter Janis’s home 4301 E. Charles Road in Ionia. Memorial contributions can be made in May’s name to the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.
