Mary Jane Dixon

Mary Jane Dixon age 90, formerly of Rockford and Hot Springs Arkansas passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at St. Anns in Grand Rapids. She was born October 8, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Herbert Charles & Lilian Luella (Shroeder) Kistler. She loved to play golf and had a hole in one at the age of 76. She and her husband were members of Blythefield CC. Mary is survived by her daughter and son in law Nancy & (Dave) Johnson of Cedar Springs; sons and daughters in law Thomas & (Elizabeth) Dixon of Littleton, Colorado and David & (Roxanne) Dixon of Macon, Georgia; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother and sister in law Jim & (Laverne) Kistler of Minnesota; sister and brother in law Gerry & (James) Shroeder of Minnesota and her sister in law Hazel Dixon of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred on May 13, 2009 and her brother in law John Dixon. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at St. Anns Home in Grand Rapids. Visitation will start 9 AM till the Mass. Rosary will be recited before the Mass. Burial will take place later at the Woodland Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to St. Anns. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Ann’s Home for their wonderful care.
