Marshall Lintz age 86, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born December 24, 1933 in Kenton, Ohio, the son of Frank P. & Opal (Bailey) Lintz. He served his country in the United States Navy, retired from Rob Roy in 1986 and loved to spend time with his family especially enjoyed the little ones. He loved doing puzzles and watching the Detroit Tigers hardly ever missing a game. He loved spending time with his brother Dorance either watching a ball game together, taking a ride to Lake George or just visiting with each other. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his nieces and nephews that considered him "Our Special Uncle". Marshall is survived by his 20 nieces and nephews; one brother Dorance and his sister and brother in law Connie and Don Maness. He was preceded in death by his sisters Juanita Green, Edna Denman, Marzie Basil and Julia Hawes, brothers Webster and John Lintz and niece Cheryl Merritt and his nephew Fred Basil. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville with members of the family meeting with friends and relatives from 1 PM till the service. Military Services will be by the Greenville American Legion Post #101 at the funeral Home. Burial will take place at South Sidney Cemetery in the spring. Memorial contributions in Marshall Lintz’s name can be made to the Montcalm County Meals on Wheels.
