Marie Anna Harris

Marie Anna Harris age 88, of Gowen, passed away February 21, 2022 under the care of Spectrum Hospice.  She was born March 7, 1933 in Lakeview, the daughter of Charles A. & Minnie M. (Workinger) Williams.  Marie went to Bannen Country School and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1951.  She married Duane Harris on December 10, 1956 and he passed away September 12, 1996.  She is survived by her three sons Mark (Robin) Harris of Gowen, Rick (Joy) Harris of Sparta and Dave (Amy) Harris of Rockford; four grandchildren Megan Harris, Lucas Harris, Kyle Harris and Cameron Tucker; two sisters Flora Bigelow of Stanton and Joyce (Dave) Mann of Muskegon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Duane in 1996, brother Chester Williams in 2018, sister in law Beatrice Williams in 1996 and her brother in law Paul Bigelow in 2022.  Marie chose cremation and no formal services with burial next to her husband in Riverside Cemetery in Langston.
