Marianne E. Mindel

Marianne E. Mindel age 85, formerly of Illinois, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born February 18, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Michael & Mary (Sonenberg) Giergielewicz. Marianne enjoyed being an election judge in Evergreen Park, Illinois and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took care of her family while her husband was out working on the roads as a truck driver. She is survived by her daughter Candace Hespen of Spring Lake; son Charles J. & (Kathlin) Mindel, Jr. of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; four grandchildren Melanie Whitten, Richard Hespen, Jr., Charles Mindel, III and Tammy Pike; ten great grandchildren David & Charles Whitten, Julia, Lori, Alana Mindel, Clara and Katalin Pike and Luke, Liam and Laiken Hespen. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Mindel, Sr. on June 12, 2011 and her son in law Richard Hespen, Sr. Private visitation and funeral services will be held at the South Sidney Church, with Pastor Joel Heron officiating. Burial will be in South Sidney Cemetery.
