M. Joyce Hicks

M. Joyce Hicks age 89 of Greenville, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2015 at Metron of Belding. She was born April 28, 1925, the daughter of Heiko & Norma (John son) Neessen. Joyce was a member of the Greenville Area Senior Center and was a former member of the American Legion Post# 101 Auxiliary. She is survived by her grandchildren Kim Cantrell of Fenwick, Josie Barthel of Sheridan, Kellie Barthel of Stanton, Mark Cantrell of Greenville and Brad & (Sonya) Cantrell of Sidney; 9 great grandchildren Justin, Jeff, Ryan, Kevin and Markus Cantrell, Cole Stearns, Shayla Lehner, Brooklyn and Bradock Stewart; 3 great great grandchildren Carson Stearns, Ellie and Natalie Cantrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Hicks, daughter Judith Barthel, sisters LaVerne Johnson and Helen McCaffery and her brothers Don and Larry Neessen. Services will be held later.
