Loren John Strotheide, age 71, formerly of Greenville, born to Mildred Ruth Frisbie Strotheide and Loren Otto Strotheide January 31, 1949 in Belding, Michigan, passed away February 8, 2020 at The Brook of Cedar Springs Assisted Living under the care of Spectrum Hospice. He is survived by his siblings and nieces and nephews; sister the late Beunna Lake, Harold and Sharon Lake (RoseAnne and Rick Paulino, Leslie and Vance Bliss, Misti and Rick Bowen), brother the late Robert Lee Strotheide (Robbin and Jay Rice, Ryan and Sue Strotheide, Rae Lynn Traster and Jeff Wilson, Rachelle Williams, Robert and Wynette Strotheide, Reid Strotheide, Christa and Brandon Cook, Jeremy Strotheide, Korena and Justin Ragan), sister Joy and Gary Myers (Christopher and Sheila Myers), sister Carol and the late Randy Hoskins (Andrew and Linda Hoskins, Rodney and Norma Roxy Hoskins), sister Janice and Robert Zawacki (Mark Rittersdorf, Melani and Stephen Brammer, Danyelle Josse, Deedra Rittersdorf), sister Jean and John Lundquist (Jennifer Rose, Joshua and Julie Lundquist) and sister Beverly and Earl Garrison of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; multiple great and great great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many Frisbie and Strotheide cousins. Loren retired from the Greenville School System after 30 plus years of service as Custodial staff. He was a member of the Montcalm Area Reading Council (MARC) for many years and an Outstanding contributor. He was the longest serving board member as of May 2018. Loren was a Member of the Nazarene Church of Greenville where he enjoyed his service with the Food Bank. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to MARC. Memorial Services will be held 2 PM Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Rest Haven Memory Gardens. Memorial Envelopes will be available at the service.
