LaVonne J. “Bonnie Wernette age 93, of Greenville passed away Sunday April 4, 2021 at home under the care of Spectrum Hospice. She was born January 14, 1928 in Cato Township the daughter of Theo & Violet (Stevens) Beemer. Years ago she worked at the Winter Inn and the Candlestone. Bonnie is survived by her daughters Cindy Wheeler of Greenville, Linda (Brian) Dutcher of Remus and Carol Pohl of Tennessee; 7 grandchildren Rachel Wheeler of Greenville, Stephanie (Scott) Thompson of Six Lakes, Brady Wheeler of Midland, Chad Dutcher of Remus, Stacy Watson of Tennessee, Erikka (Jason) Hafner of Pewamo and Jessica Watson of Tennessee; 9 great grandchildren and her siblings Dennis Beemer, Bill (Sharon) Beemer, Geraldine (Terry) Wixon, Beverly Weeks And Bernell (Donna) Beemer. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward on November 25, 1998, grandson Craig Dutcher and her siblings Vernon Beemer, Clyle Beemer, Audrey Hopper, Lorna Moore and Nancy Hopkins. Graveside services will be 2 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery by Kiril Alber.
