Kenneth Dale Goodemoot, Jr.

Kenneth Dale Goodemoot, Jr. age 46, passed away in Ithaca Sunday, October 12, 2014. He was born August 26, 1968 in Sheridan, the son of Kenneth & Marilyn (Dickerson) Goodemoot, Sr. Kenneth was a former truck driver for Montgomery Trucking in Alabama, love motorcycles, horseback riding, fishing, going on spur of the moment road trips and always willing to help people and ask nothing in return. He is survived by his mother Marilyn Miller of Ithaca, sons and daughters in law Thomas Dale & (Chelsea) Goodemoot of Harrisville and Kyle Alex & (Rento) Goodemoot of Ft. Hood, Texas; daughter Sheryl Ann Goodemoot of Ithaca; 2 grandchildren Sylvia and Nadia Goodemoot; sisters and brother in law Bonnie Sue & (Timothy) Bancroft of Perrington and Sheila Goodemoot of Stanton; aunts Jean Petersen of Greenville, Shirley Wonch of Carson City and Beverley Bristol of Saranac; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Dale Goodemoot, Sr., step mother Phyllis Goodemoot, grandparents Thomas & Blanche Dickerson and Marion & Dale Goodemoot, uncles Dale Petersen, Gerald Wonch, Orval Bristol and twins Larry and Terry Dickerson and his aunt Joan Dickerson Petrie. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Bernard Loew officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 6 to 8 PM and 1 hour prior to the funeral on Friday. The family suggests that you consider the needs of the family when making a memorial contribution in Kenneth’s name and can be left at the funeral home. Burial will take place later. A Celebration of his Life luncheon will be held at NOON, SATURDAY, October 18, 2014 at the Lester J. Sitts VFW Post #5065 in Sheridan. Memories along with donations will be accepted by the family.
