Kenneth Wayne Glass

Kenneth Wayne Glass age 79, of Greenville, passed away September 24, 2022 at home. He was born March 19, 1943 in Grand Rapids, the son of Fredrick P. & Jane (Mutsayers) Glass. Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and was awarded The Bronze Star and The Air Medal. Kenneth loved spending time with his family, large gatherings around meals, telling strangers his jokes, and a bit of gambling. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling, camping, and some shenanigans. Kenneth is survived by his children Sarah (Slater) Martin of Greenville, Julie Syrek of Greenville, Kevin Glass of Lexington, Kentucky, Mikel Glass of Kentwood and Robyn (Chad) Ryckman of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; one great grandson and his sister Diane Glass of Sparta along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice J. Glass on December 5, 2010, sister Sally Huyser and his brother Phillip Glass. A Celebration of His Life will be 1 to 4 PM Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Frisbie Park, 10260 Poplar Dr., Rockford (Scram Lake). Memorial contributions can be made in Kenneth’s name to the Clay Street Center.
