Bruce Clifford Kennedy age 92 of Spring Lake, Michigan passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026 surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife of sixty- nine years Kathleen Kennedy and their five children Mark Kennedy, Paul (Sue) Kennedy, Karen (Gary) Miesch, Gail (Brad) Whalley, and Gary (Kris) Kennedy. Bruce is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren, brother Larry (Val) Kennedy, special cousins John and Robin Berchulc. Bruce is preceded in death by his son Kevin Kennedy. Bruce led an active life. He was an Officer in the United States Navy as a pilot. Later, Bruce was a Captain for United Airlines. He loved spending time with his family and was an absolute people person. Bruce enjoyed sailing, boating, fishing, and gardening. On sunny days you could always find him on his deck looking at the lake and watching the boats and listening to wind chimes. Bruce will truly be missed by his family and friends. Kathleen Marion Kennedy age 89 of Spring Lake, Michigan passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 3, 2026. She is survived by her children: Mark Kennedy, Paul (Sue) Kennedy, Karen (Gary) Miesch, Gail (Brad) Whalley and Gary (Kris) Kennedy, and special cousins John (Robin) Berchulc. Kathleen (Nana) is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Bruce Kennedy, her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, who passed away February 18, 2026. She is also preceded in death by her son Kevin Kennedy, her brother Ralph Berchulc and, sister Marilyn Rybarczyk. Kathleen was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, doing puzzles and playing games. Kathleen will be greatly missed by her family and friends but we are thankful she is at peace by her husband's side. Kathleen's cremation has taken place. Special thanks to Hathaway Hills in Greenville for all the wonderful and loving care.
