Joseph James Palmer

Palmer, Joseph James, a/k/a “Joking Joe”- March 8, 1967-September 30, 2021, aged 53. Joe passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2021, Joe is survived by his daughter Maddelyn Jo, grandson JoeJoe, sisters Jean Ann, Shawn Renee and Carolyn Marie (Andy), several nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his father (Barry Palmer, 2013) and mother (Delores, (Young) 2011). To describe Joe’s life his dad said it best, “Joe dances to the beat of a different drummer.” Now that the beats have ended our hearts are saddened but comforted in knowing that you are at peace. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Zach (Amanda) for always being there for Joe and looking out for him. To Deputy Selby, the responding officer who found my brother and being so gracious and taking time for the family, and to Jeff Marshall (Marshall Funeral Home) for going above and beyond in helping the family through this difficult time.
