John Leroy Waber

John Leroy Waber age 85, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Hathaway Hills in Greenville. He was born March 13, 1940 in Elwell, Michigan, the son of Peter E. & Lena (VanHorn) Waber. He loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed playing tennis, hiking, and running. He lived a healthy and generous life. He was active in his church and loved to lend a helping hand. He was an Army veteran and a Michigan State Police Detectiv John is survived by his wife Ingrid; children Jeff (Deanna) Waber of Gowen, Craig (Michelle) Waber of Cutlerville and Kristin Waber & (Chad Haight) of Greenville; three grandchildren Chad Vess, Justin Waber and Jacob Waber; four great grandchildren Grace Vess, Tanner Waber, Colton Waber and Isabella Waber. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Peter Jr.,Robert, Richard, Edward, Don and his sisters Winona and Rosemary. Memorial Services will be Saturday June 28 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church, 204 W. Cass St, Greenville, MI with visitation preceding at 10:00-11:00am.. Burial will take place later in Ft.
