Jimmie L. Harris

Jimmie L. Harris, age 74, of Stanton passed away November 18, 2014 at the Sheridan Community Hospital. He was born July 9, 1940 in Greenville, the son of Harold H. & Leona A. (Sanders) Harris. He had retired from Federal Mogul and was a member of the Stanton American Legion. He married Joyce K. Kirkbride on April 18, 1967, who preceded him in death on September 21, 2006. Jimmie is survived by his 2 sons and daughters in law Jeff & (Tonya) Harris of Allendale and John & (Jennifer) Harris of Gowen; 4 grandchildren Jazmine & (Jeff) Polkowski of Jenison, Samantha and Tyler Harris of Allendale and Chaley Harris of Gowen; 3 great grandchildren Ben, Zachary and Mitchell; brother and sister in law Ray & (Maxine) Harris of Stanton; sister and brother in law Kay & (Bill) Young of Gowen and his sister in law Marie Harris of Gowen. He is also preceded in death by his parents and his brother Duane Harris on September 12, 1996. According to Jimmie’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held later.
