Jesse Williams Anderson

Jesse Williams Anderson age 19, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago after a fight with cancer. He was born June 26, 2006 in Big Rapids, the son of Elizabeth L. Anderson and Robert McDannald, Jr. He graduated in 2024 from Meredosia Chambersburg High School in Illinois. He loved to play video games, watch YouTube videos, and spend time with his dog Prince. Jesse was working on getting his degree in graphic design. Jesse is survived by his mother Elizabeth L. Anderson of Greenville; father Robert McDannald, Jr. of Meredosia, Illinois; one brother Micheal McDannald Sr; of Jacksonville, Illinois, grandparents George (Diane) Anderson of Greenville; grandmother Barb McDannald of Meredosia, Illinois; aunts and uncles Shelly (Rocky) Bergeron of Greenville, George Anderson Jr. of Melrose, Wisconsin, Brandy Vroman of Sheridan, Connie Guthrie of Streater, Illinois, Janice Karvonen (James Stray) of Meredosia, Illinois, Andrew (Laura) Sidock of Florida and Kathy McDannald of Kentucky and niece and nephew Samantha and Micheal Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Shirley Anderson, grandfather Robert McDannald, Sr, brother Kyle McDannald and his aunt Lisa Sidock. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Thursday, May 21, 2026 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation from 12 noon till the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Jesse’s name to support Autism.
