Jeffery David Sova

Jeffery David Sova, age 63, passed from this life into eternal life on April 22, 2020. He was born December 13, 1956 in Pontiac, Michigan, to Harold and Ruth Sova, who preceded him in death. He was a 1975 graduate of Greenville High School where he excelled in Building Trades. Jeff was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Electrolux for 25 years. He worked the line, maintenance, and earned his journeyman as a millwright. After the closing of Electrolux he worked the remainder of his career at Michigan Wheel in Grand Rapids as a Millwright. Jeff was known for his larger than life personality, his generous heart and his loud voice. His co-workers at Electrolux, whom he also considered family, were welcomed with a thundering “Good Morning” when they arrived. He had a love for practical jokes on just about everyone he knew, especially his younger siblings. He loved a big belly laugh, enjoyed reading, was creative and had a love of nature. He is survived by his siblings Christine Wellman (Perrin), Marty Sova (Terry), Gaylia Ross (Randy), Tom Sova (Brenda), Ray Sova (Sherin Smith), Andy Sova (Kim), Barbara Spitzley (Jim), Dolores Johansen (Jeff). Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Special friends Karen Becker, Dolores Bush, Bobbe Bauer family and Matt and Rose Zerlaut. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Cremation has taken place according to Jeff’s wishes. A celebration of his life will be held later.
