James "Jim" M. Knapp

James M. “Jim” Knapp age 68 of Gowen, passed away Monday, February 9, 2026 at Corewell Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born March 2, 1957 in Grayling, the son of Floyd & Yvonne E. (Mitchell) Knapp. He worked at Fox Ford and loved Nascar and the outdoors. Jim is survived by his wife Kelly Jo of 33 years; children Christina (Dean), Melissa, Cody, and Aaron; brother Gary (Sandy) Myers; and many nephews, cousins, and close friends. There are no services planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover costs.
