James A. Auton

James A. Auton age 84, of Gowen passed away Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home. He was born June 1, 1940 in Dade City, Florida, the son of Roy J. & Grace E. (Stailey) Auton. He retired from Steelcase, farmed, hunted, fished and loved to Garden. James married Susan J. Brown.. He is survived by his wife Susan; granddaughter Candace Becher of Indiana; great grandson Charles Perkins and his sister in law Vera Cyphert of Winn. He was preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Ann Becher in 2012, sister Linda Parker, sisters in law Betty Walburn and Una Stephen and his parents. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Spencer Mills Cemetery.
