Jacob (Jack) Al Kurnat

Jacob (Jack) Al Kurnat- age 80, of Greenville, passed away Saturday May 3, 2025 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born June 11, 1944, the son of Lewis and Virginia (Berryhill) Kurnat. Jack served in the National Guard when he was young. He then had various jobs before he worked for Federal Mogul in Greenville, MI where he retired from several years ago. He has been a proud member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion and the Fraternal order of Eagles where enjoyed playing Pull Tabs. He had a passion for riding motorcycles, he loved to fish and wasn’t opposed to a good party. Jack also liked owning and shooting guns. In the summer you could find him outside on his swing drinking iced tea. Jack is survived by his best friends of many years Harold Martin, Jim Wood & Sue Kersjes and Tom (Kathy) Fuhrman; his friends Brenda Wood, Barbara Wood and Tim Lewis; his brother Lewis (Cathy) Kurnat and their children; his special cousin, Joanna Harrington and many in-law relatives of the Philippines and Australia. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Lita DeDuque Kurnat, his parents Lewis and Virginia Kurnat, his father in law Benjamin Saraba DeBuque, his mother in law Rosa Javelosa DeDuque. There will be a private graveside prayer service to lay to rest Jack and Lita Kurnat together, at Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Belding, MI at a later date.
