Howard Richard Race, Jr. age 68 of Stanton, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026 at his home. He was born October 9, 1958 in Sheridan, the son of Howard, Sr. & Joan Jewell Race. He loved to hunt, fish and gardening. Howard is survived by his wife Sandra, children Amy Dickinson of Sheridan, Richard. And Becky Race of Edmore, Jasmine Race of Stanton and Colton Race of Stanton; four grandchildren Dion, Paige, Raegan and Jaxon; great grandchildren; mother and stepfather Joan & Gordon Hunt of California and his siblings Zelma May, Barnie Race, Sidney Race, Seymore Race, Juanita Race. He is also survived by Sandras family. He was preceded in death by his father Howard R. Race, Sr. and his brother Gordy Race. Private Family Services will be held.
