Glen J. Reusser

Glen J. Reusser age 91, of Gowen, passed away, Thursday, August 2, 2018 at his home under the care of Spectrum Hospice. He was born January 7, 1927 in Lowell, the son of Fred & Margaret (Castor) Reusser. He owned Reusser's Cleaners in Grand Rapids and served in the Navy during World War II on the USS Macon. Glen is survived by his children Patricia (Gary) Everest, Sr. of Rockford, Peg (Richard) Middlebrook of Trufant, Ed (Judy) Reusser of DeWitt and Donna Reusser of Gowen; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 41 great great grandchildren; brother Gary (Liz) Reusser of Battle Creek; sisters in law Irene Reusser of Harrison, Elaine Grundy of Lake Odessa and Teresa Grundy of Lansing; many nieces and nephews and his special cat Mr. Nuisance. He is preceded in death by his wife Rose J. Reusser on September 26, 2016, son and daughter in law Robert & Beverly Reusser, brothers and sister in law James & Doris Reusser and Dale Reusser and his sisters and brothers in law Crystal & Robert Ballard and Delores & Rodney Ambs and his parents Fred & Margaret Reusser. Funeral Services will be 2 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at the Marshall Funeral Home, with visitation from 1 PM till the service. Pastor Betsy Kamphuis and Vicar Tom Redig will be officiating. A luncheon will follow at Settlement Lutheran Church, Gowen. Military Committal Services will be 11 AM Monday at Riverside Cemetery in Langston by the American Legion Post #101 of Greenville. Memorial contributions can be made in Glen's name to the American Cancer Society or Spectrum Hospice.
