George Edward Patrick

George E. Patrick age 87, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Corewell Greenville Hospital in Greenville, Michigan. He was born May 23, 1936 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Peter J. & Zella M. (Curtis) Petrovich. He was a veteran in the United States Marines, serving from 1953 to 1956. George was an avid bowler and golfer in the 70's and 80's, Loved Fishing on Lake Michigan and played in Billards tournaments with his wife Mittsie. George and Mittsie were married for 40 wonderful years. George is survived by his wife Mittsie, sister Dorothy (Dottie) and four children, Joe (Carolyn) Patrick of Kentwood, Brian (Samantha) Patrick of Greenville, Sue Schwab of Grandville and Kevin Patrick of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Peter, and his sister Marion. A Celebration of Life will be held later. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to your favorite charity.
