Floyd Leroy Cooper

Floyd Leroy Cooper, age 85, of Sidney, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at home under the care of his family and Corewell Health Hospice and Palliative Care West Michigan. He was born June 29, 1941 in Lakeview, the son of Roy Harvey & Helena Louise (Larsen) Cooper. He worked at Electrolux for 40 years and loved to fish and hunt. Floyd is survived by his wife Mary of 63 years; six children Kelly Cooper, Karen Robinson, Keith Cooper, Roy Cooper, Kara Lee and Ryan Cooper; nineteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister Barbara Laderman and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his special caregivers Roy, Kara, Keith, Ryan, Samantha, Jacob, niece Joann Springer and Corewell Hospice. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Kevin Cooper and his sisters and brothers in law Dorothy (Bruce) Irish, Doris Merritt, Elva (Pete) Kelley and Grace (Leonard) Manley.
