Duane A. Clinger

Duane A. Clinger, Sr. age 90, of Coral passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Corewell Butterworth in Grand Rapids. He was born April 23, 1936 in Saginaw, the son of Perry & Dorothy A. (Soules) Clinger. In 1956 he started Clingers Window Cleaning and Janitorial Service, was an ordained minister where he enjoyed spreading the word of God, loved to travel, being a father and great husband and deeply cared for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Duane is survived by his wife JoAnn of 52 years; children Tim (Shelly) Clinger of Coral and Terry (Mel, II) White of Greenville; four grandchildren Ryan White, Olivia (Matt) Dixon, Brooklynn White & (Joel) and Shelia Pohl; many great grandchildren and his sisters Maxine of Coral and Joyce and Linda of Florida. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas Clinger and daughter Phyllis Wireman. Funeral Services will be 3 PM Sunday, June 7, 2026 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville. Visitation will be 2 PM till the service on Sunday. Burial will take place later in Reynolds Cemetery, west of Howard City. The family suggests in lieu of flowers; contributions are to go towards family expenses.
