Dormalea S. “Lee” Marshall

Dormalea S. “Lee” Marshall age 88, of Greenville passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at home under the care of Spectrum Hospice. She was born August 27, 1931 in Orleans, MI, the daughter of Stanley T. & Dorothy M. (Hoppough) Robinson. Lee was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Charles Altar Society, Delphinium Club, St. Martins Guild and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #101 of Greenville. She was employed at Michigan Bell Telephone in Grand Rapids, then later worked side by side with her husband Leo at the Marshall Funeral Home for many years. She loved her video movie collection, crossword puzzles and watching the Detroit Tigers and Pistons games. She enjoyed cooking and loved spoiling her grandchildren. Lee is survived by her husband Leo of 63 years, sons and daughters in law, Jeff (Sally) Marshall of Greenville, Doug Marshall of Greenville, Dan (Jennifer) Marshall of Cadillac; grandchildren Jessie (James) Freed of Port Huron, Allison Marshall (Rob Williams) of Rochester, NY, Molly (Ian) McCausland of Wheaton, IL., Kelsey Marshall, Abby Marshall and Zachary Marshall of Chicago, IL, Kaleigha (Tucker) Stipe of Miami, FL and Alex (Kelsey) Marshall of Grand Rapids; Great grandchildren, Lucy Freed, Dakota, McCoy and Oakley McCausland; sisters Vera (George) Hendricks of Grand Rapids, Shirley Baker of Walker, and Ronald Robinson of Orleans; sister in law Maxine Scott of Comstock Park; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Marvin Robinson and great grandson Charlie Danger Williams. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church, Greenville. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the church, with visitation from 10 AM till the Mass at church, celebrated by Fr. Mark Bauer. Burial will take place in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Lee’s name to Greenville Optimist Club for care of Camp Wah-Wah-Tay-See. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to the Optimist Club, 7580 Backus Road, Greenville, Mi 48838.
