Dorene Louise Way

Dorene Louise Way age 66, of Stanton, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at home under the care of Spectrum Hospice. She was born August 5, 1955 in Ypsilanti, the daughter of Walter & Carolyn (Watkins) Holt. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dorene is survived by her husband Darrell; children Tina Irwin of Edmore, Tonia Rose of Stanton, Tiffany Fulk of Chesaning, Tracie Irwin of Six Lakes and step daughters Erica Pena of Grand Rapids and Erin Witter of Greenville; 18 grandchildren; sisters Cindy Thompson of Stanton and Terri Hansen of Edmore and her brother Steve Wilson of Columbiaville. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Carolyn Holt; brother Vance Holt and her great granddaughter Vayda-Kay Vasquez. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2 PM to 4PM Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Winn Community Building, 8015 Franklin St, Winn, MI 48896. Donations can be made to Spectrum Health Hospice or the American Cancer Society in memory of Dorene Way.
