Donald E. Hunter

Donald E. Hunter age 81, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born April 30, 1941 in St. Clair, Illinois, the son of Jesse & Effie (Wilkerson) Hunter.  He loved to live life for the moment.  Donald is survived by his wife Nancy; children Joseph (Liz) Hunter of Grand Rapids, Kate Hunter & (Sharon) of Grand Rapids, Jeff Hunter & (Kathy) of Detroit, Shawn Hunter of Lansing and Chris Jensen & (Kevin) of Stanton; seven grandchildren Ashley, Cheyenne, Brianna, Connor, Kyle, Spencer and Sydney; two great grandchildren K.J. and Kaija; sister Judy Brown of Luther; mother in law and father in law Gloria & Gerald McPherson of Greenville, brothers in law David (Alice) McPherson of Sidney and Bruce (Bobbi) McPherson of Greenville; sister in law Debbie Adair of Greenville and his nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Bob and Joe Hunter and his sister Carolyn Smith. Members of the family will meet with friends and relatives from 11 AM till the Memorial Service which will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Greenville First Congregational Church.  Burial will take place in Eureka Cemetery.
