Diane Claire Nadeau, 80, of Six Lakes, entered into her heavenly home on April 10, 2026 surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Diane was born on November 28, 1945 to William and Claire Lyndrup in Greenville. She graduated from Greenville High School and spent the rest of her life caring for everyone around her. She married her husband Robert (Bob) Nadeau on May 16, 1964. They spent nearly 62 years building a beautiful life and family.
Diane and Bob owned and operated Nadeau Adult Foster Care Home for several years and she took great pride in feeding a dozen or more people every meal. Her house was always a home to everyone that entered.
Diane enjoyed her crafts, decorating for holidays, and shopping. She would never pass up an opportunity to shop for clothes, a new purse, and a whole cart full of groceries.
Her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always had a sweet treat to share, an adventure planned, or an invitation to come visit her in Florida during the winter.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, William and Claire Lyndrup, father and mother in law, Homer and Donna Nadeau, sisters in laws, Helen Kern, Darlene Sydow, and Cathie Nadeau, and brother in law, Cal Maupin.
Diane is survived by her husband Bob, children, Steve (Alicia) Nadeau, Suzette (Chris) Lawson, and Jason (Jackie) Nadeau, grandchildren Ryan (Mellissa), Alyssia (Lance), Tyler (Chelsey), Jared (Shelby), Samantha (Tommy), Paige (Kyle), and Emma, 11 great grandchildren, brother Bill (Sue) Lyndrup, sister Marabeth Maupin, brother in law, James Nadeau (Naomi Lint), Gary (Sally) Kern, Jerry Sydow, many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, Ken and Jackie Kettler.
A luncheon will take place at 2pm on May 30th at New Life United Methodist Church in Six Lakes. A celebration of life and time to share memories will immediately follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to Corewell Health Hospice.
