Delores A. Kennedy

Delores A. Kennedy age 85, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born November 14, 1928, the daughter of J.C. & Matilda E. (Hess) Ehlert. She was a member of the Turk Lake United Methodist Church and the Mary-Martha circle and had worked as a teacher's aid in the Greenville Public School System. Delores is survived by her 2 daughters Sherry Kennedy and Mary Kay Kinney of Greenville; 3 granddaughters Raette Bergeron of the Netherlands, Peggy Kinney and Lisa Miller of Greenville; 7 great grandchildren Katherene Lester and Benjamin Witte of the Netherlands, Robert Miller, III and Riley Miller of Greenville, Camrun Laisure, John Kinney and Sophie Witte. She was preceded in death by her husband John G. "Jack" Kennedy on June 26, 2000 and her sister Marilyn Brayton. Funeral & Committal Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at the Turk Lake United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kim DeLong officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM till the services Wednesday at the church, followed by a luncheon immediately after. Burial will take place later in E. Montcalm Cemetery
