Six Lakes

David R. Buzan age 61, of Six Lakes passed away Tuesday , October 14, 2025. He was born July 24, 1964, raised by Willard Darrell & Virginia (Washington) Buzan. He worked at Charter Communications and had a love for spending time with family. He was a man who lived life with heart, grit, and a deep love for the people and passions that made him who he was. He found his peace in the great outdoors whether it was the quiet of a hunting morning, the freedom of being out on the water on the boat, or the crisp air of his favorite season, fall. Classic rock and roll was the soundtrack to his life, and you could always find him singing along and snapping his fingers, no matter what song was playing. He loved his dogs and they were never far from his side. But above all else, his greatest joy came from being a girl dad. He adored his daughters and cherished every moment of laughter, pride, and unconditional love they brought him. When he became a grandpa, that love only grew stronger—he lit up around his grandkids, always ready with a smile, a joke, story to share, and if you ever had one- the best hugs. And through it all, the truest and most constant light in his life was his wife of 34 years. She was his best friend, his partner in every adventure. David is survived by his wife Diana; children Ashley (Kyle) Mahan of Grand Rapids, Tiffany Buzan of California and Carlee Barnes of Greenville; five grandchildren Alaina Nettleman, Davien Nettleman, Alyssa Evans, David Evans and Liam Barnes; father Darrell (Sharon) Buzan of Oklahoma; sisters JoDee (Michael) Clark of Oklahoma, Gina Segraves of Oklahoma, Giela Williams of Oklahoma and Kimberly (Carlos) Monzon of Texas; brothers Guy Buzan of Oklahoma, Robert Walker of Colorado and Nathan Walker of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his mother Virginia, his brothers Danny Walker, and Tom Walker. A Celebration of his Life Luncheon will be Saturday October 25 at the VFW in Sheridan at 1 PM. Arrangements are by the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with complete obituary online at www.marshallfuneralhomeinc.com where you can leave a message of condolence for the family.
