Cyrus W. Crosslan age 84, formerly of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Metron of Belding. He was born August 19, 1934 in Potterville, the son of Russell & Flora (Hardy) Crosslan. He was a former employee of Gibsons, enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife. He also served in the Marines at the end of the Korean War, then enlisted in the Army on March 8, 1961 at the beginning of the Vietnam War and later was in the US Navy Reserve. Cyrus is survived by his children Jeff Crosslan of Greenville, Kerri (Keith) Gibson of Belding and Jim McMillan of Belding; two grandchildren Ciara (Matt) Case of Sidney and Katlyn Gibson of Orleans; three great grandchildren Evan Kinney, Gretchen Case and Zoey Case; nieces and nephews including special nephew Carl (Heather) Crosslan and special nieces Joann Smith and Martha Hughs and by Caroline Crosslan, the mother of Jim, Jeff and Kerri. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Russell Crosslan and his sisters Dorothy Dearman and Lola Crosslan. Memorial Services will be 11 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Marshall Funeral Home, Greenville, with Pastor Kevin Crowell officiating. Military honors will be by the American Legion Post #101 of Greenville. Memorial contributions in Cyrus’s name can be mad to the Clay Street Center an Adult Day Center to help Seniors in Greenville. There will be a luncheon following at Christina Allisons home at 8151 S. Youngman, Greenville.
