Craig B. Laderoot

Craig B. Laderoot age 71, of Sparta, passed away in his home. He was born April 1, 1954 in Grand Rapids, the son of Robert & Lorraine R. (Van Oeveren) Laderoot. He was a deep-thinking, gentle person who loved his family very much. He enjoyed reading, learning and watching new movies recommended to him by others. He also enjoyed sharing the diverse knowledge he had, whether it be regarding computers, electronics or just the most recent bit he had come across. But Craig’s true passion was music and his love of guitars. Craig played guitar for 61 years and could amaze anyone who listened. Blues was his specialty, but he loved to dabble in any genre. His love of music, knowledge and family was strong and will be sorely missed. Craig is survived by his brother Kirk (Barbie) Laderoot of Cedar Springs; nieces; Deanna Ely, Kelly (Justin) Grow and Chasity; and a slew of others who loved him dearly. Craig was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lorraine R. Laderoot, along with his beloved black cat, Stinky. Cremation has taken place and burial will be in Spencer Township Cemetery at a private memorial.
