COLE, CHARLES ROGER "Uncle Chuck", age 64, born May 26, 1953, left us April 6, 2018. Chuck succumbed to a long fight with cancer and died at his home in Comstock Park, MI. Survived by his brothers Thomas Cole (Carolyn), of Grand Rapids, MI, Michael Cole (Barbara), of Grand Blanc, MI, sister-in-law and dear friend Joanne Carrithers, of Comstock Park, MI, Cousin Phillip Matuk, of Lowell, MI, nephews Robert Cole (Teresa), of Sparta, MI, Michael Cole (Christine), Newaygo, MI, and many other nieces and nephews. He is joining in heaven his mother, Eleanor Cole, brothers David Cole, and William Cole (Wendy). Uncle Chuck enjoyed golfing and fishing in the Bahamas, was a lifelong Ohio State Fan and playing golf at the former Greenville Country Club with his nephew Bob and friends. He has been cremated and his ashes will be scattered in the Bahamas, as were his wishes. His family is hosting a Celebration of Life, Saturday, April 21, at Our Tavern, 1219 Hamilton Ave. NW in Grand Rapids, MI, from 3pm to 6pm. Family is asking in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
