Clifford L. Proctor age 89, of Greenville, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Golden Life Assisted Living in Greenville, under the care of Interim Hospice with family by his side. He was born on September 29, 1935, the son of George and Florence (Barnum) Proctor. Cliff spent most of his childhood growing up on a family farm west of Casnovia, Michigan. After graduating from Kent City High School, Cliff went into the United States Army. In February of 1959 he married Donna Arends. Together they raised six children, Paul (Sharon) Proctor of Greenville, Mark (Sue) Proctor of Holt, Jacqueline (Jay) Duke of Brighton, Randall Proctor, Rodney Proctor, Betsy Proctor all of Greenville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Gerri Robart of Casnovia. Cliff was preceded in death by his son Randall, mother Florence and stepfather Alton Wood, sisters Georgine Blauvelt and Lea Joyce Ford. Cliff was a long-time member of the Flat River Conservation Club and loved to hunt and fish. He also liked watching the Lions and Tigers play on television, he was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and worked at Greenville Tool and Die for over 30 years. Some of his past times were tending to his yard and getting together with friends and family and a little traveling. Funeral Mass will be 11 AM Friday, October 3, 2025, at St. Charles Catholic Church with viewing from 10 till the time of Mass.
