Christopher J. Deater

Christopher J. Deater age 66, of Comstock Park, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. He was born November 22, 1949 in Glendale, California, the son of Donald & Barbara Deater. He was a former member of the Camp Lake Baptist Church Family. Christopher is survived by his daughter and son in law Rachel & (Fred) Brockway of Sheridan and his brothers Ty Deater of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Tony & (Jaye) Deater of Reno, Nevada. He is also survived by Dorothy Teelander, mother of Rachel, of Comstock Park. Memorial Services will be 1 PM Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, with Chaplain Bob Dennis officiating along with Military Honors. Members of the family will meet with relatives and friends from Noon till the services on Thursday. Burial will be in the spring at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery.
