Cheryl Lynn Johnson age 61 of Greenville, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at Corewell Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born February 16, 1962 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Frank B. & Sally A. (Wiggins) Pixley, Jr. She was a Gift of Life donor and saved 2 lives by donating her kidneys. She loved to fish and spend time with family. Cheryl loved sunsets and sunrises, the more orange and pink the better, she was an avid recreational storm chaser and loved sitting there listening to her storm radio and the storms passing through. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and most of all she was a woman of God. She loved preaching and teaching the Bible to her kids and grandkids and loved reading Gods word. Cheryl is survived by her son Jeremiah M. Johnson of Howard City; daughter Emily Ann Johnson of Grant; three grandchildren Jayden, David and Omar; sister Patty Pixley of Greenville; brothers Michael Pixley of Muskegon and David Pixley of Ohio and sister in law Sue Pixley of Grand Rapids; step mother Betty L. Pixley of Belding and her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by non blood children of Liam Pillard, Samantha Kukla and Amandah Majeske. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers Mark and Frank Pixley one grandchild and one child. Memorial Services will be held later.
